Pocket Prayer Quilts

Several church members came up with "Pocket Prayer Quilts" as part of our caring ministry. These miniature quilts contain a small cross and are held while praying. Pocket Prayer Quilts are blessed at the altar and prayed over by the congregation for healing, comfort and strength for those they are given to. 

Following the death of Girard police officer Leo, on November 6 specially made pocket prayer quilts were given to the Girard & Brookfield policemen. In worship November 5th, members of the congregation laid hands on the small quilts and prayed for safety and protection for our safety forces.
